Our thriving pediatric practice is looking for a dynamic, child-loving, MA/LPN who wants to get to know our patients and contribute to their well-being. We are focused on delivering excellent patient care in a fun, family-oriented, and professional atmosphere.
Job duties include collecting vital signs and patient in-take information, administering vaccinations, performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, administering medications, assisting with medical procedures, processing associated documentation, offering phone triage and portal message communication.
LPN candidate must be a Licensed Practical Nurse by the State of Virginia. All candidates must be BLS/CPR certified. Experience in pediatrics preferred, although enthusiastic new graduates are welcome to apply.
Position requires the following skills: Professional, outgoing, and task-oriented personality; approachable and friendly while putting children at ease in the clinical setting; ability to work in a fast-paced environment, comfortable working with computerized patient records with efficient typing skills. Enjoys the balance of working as part of a team while also completing tasks independently.
We have extended hours to 7:00pm 4 days/week and Saturday mornings. Candidate must be able to work from 7:30am to 7:00pm 3 days a week, 7:30am to 5:00pm one day a week, and every fifth Saturday morning is required.

Duties include multiple tasks related to the front office of a busy pediatric practice located at desirable Virginia Gateway Gainesville location. Seeking an individual with a strong attention to detail, customer service experience as well as enjoyment working in a fast-paced environment. Must have interest in pediatric healthcare and medical insurance-related issues. Candidate with Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Competitive wages, 3 weeks paid vacation, earned hourly.

Candidate must have his/her own transportation. Flexibility required to work early morning, late afternoon hours as well as some Saturday morning hours. Responsibilities include: greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments with attention to physician schedule and patient flow, accepting and posting payments, registering and checking in patients, checking insurance eligibility, and handling various patient-related administrative items as needed by practitioners, nurses, office manager and parents.
